1. Download the app

First, download the Banqup app for your smartphone or tablet for free.

2. Take a photo of the receipt or invoice

Open the app, click on the "+" button in the lower right corner of the screen and press the "Take" button.

The app will automatically open your phone's camera. Place the invoice or invoice on a flat surface and make sure that the document fits into the green box on the screen. The Banqup app will then automatically capture an image of your document.

 

3. Add your document

Once your image is taken, you can add an invoice or receipt to Banqup without having to enter any data. Banqup has a smart digitization function that will read the information from your document for you and store it in the appropriate Banqup data fields.

To ensure that everything runs smoothly, follow these steps:

● When you see the preview, click on the arrow and then the "Add Document" button.

● If the document has several pages, click on "Add Page to Document".

● On the next screen, select where you want to send the invoice or invoice - either in the Documents section or in the sections for Accounts payable and Accounts receivable, or Incoming or Outgoing invoices.

● Confirm and specify the type of document you just shipped – is it an invoice, a credit approval or a debit or an expense? In addition, indicate whether it has already been paid or not.

● Finally, click on "Add document" and it will arrive in your Banqup account.

Banqup will then digitize the document so that the information stored in the image is reflected in the corresponding fields in Banqup.

In addition, your company's accountant will also have access to your document in Banqup, and therefore there is no need to deliver original paper invoices or documents.
